  How Microsoft Got Halo from Apple Mac 

  In 1999 Apple wanted to make Mac for games interesting so they showed a New MAC game called “Halo”  from Bungie, same time Microsoft was building there Xbox and need a great game for it then in 2000 Microsoft bought Bungie and the rest is History.
